King of Jordan might Lead Airstrikes Against ISIL

King Abdullah of Jordan will reportedly lead revenge airstrikes against the Islamic State (IS) following the execution of Jordanian pilot Moaz al-kassasbeh who was burned alive inside a cage.

According to Elaph.com , the Jordanian monarch, a trained pilot, may personally participate in airstrikes against IS strongholds on Thursday.

“I’m not only going to kill him, I’m going to kill his wife and all his friends and burn his damn house down,” King Abdullah of Jordan purportedly told members of the US House Armed Services Committee during his visit to the United States on Tuesday, quoting a movie featuring star Clint Eastwood.

California Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter who was in the meeting with the king told the Washington Examiner that the King was ‘angry’.

“He said there is going to be retribution like ISIS [former name of the Islamic State] hasn’t seen.  “They’re starting more sorties tomorrow than they’ve ever had. They’re starting tomorrow. And he said, ‘The only problem we’re going to have is running out of fuel and bullets.”

“He’s ready to get it on. He really is. It reminded me of how we were after 9/11. We were ready to give it to them,” he added.
